A few words about your Luxe Provence deliveries from France.
Valid Daytime Shipping Address / Confirmed Delivery
We ask that you be sure to provide a valid daytime shipping address. We suggest a business address to ensure someone is present to receive the parcel delivery and all deliveries will be tracked to ensure arrival.
If you or your gift recipient is not present at the time of delivery, our courrier provider will automatically re-deliver the next business day. If your recipient is still not present the next day, the courrier will leave a note on the door with the package's tracking number and the local phone number of the nearest pick-up agency. It will be up to you, or your gift recipient, to contact the courrier and schedule an appointment for delivery.
Refused Orders
Orders that are placed, then refused delivery by clients will be charged for any international shipping and return duty fees that are assessed by each country, that our out of our control. We are not responsible for unclaimed delivery charges, or refused items. Once items are returned to our offices, all fees will be deducted and remaining balance returned to the client within 30 business days upon receipt of duty charges.
Boutique Item Shipping
Luxe Provence ships all orders from France to the USA, Canada, Europe, UK, Australia, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, UAE, Taiwan and many other destinations upon request. Please be sure that your shipping address is a street address, as we do not deliver boutique items to P.O. boxes. Boutique orders will be processed within 48-hours unless otherwise notified, and generally arrive within 4-5 business days depending upon the destination. We are happy to provide you with a delivery estimate prior to your orders. You will receive a tracking number upon fulfilment to the email address provided at the time of check-out.
Luxe Provence Shipping
All packages will be shipped from our headquarters in Provence. Shipping rates will be calculated based upon your daytime delivery address and country.
Once the delivery is underway from France, we will send a tracking number to the email address provided during your purchase.
Duties & Taxes
All of our packages will be shipped from France. Please note, that when you purchase an item from another country you are the “importer” of those goods. Goods entering certain countries, may be inspected by Customs and Border Protection and assessed for applicable customs duties, taxes and charges, if any. It is the importer's responsibility to account for any duties and/or taxes, while ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
IMPORTANT: A few *countries may apply a duty tax, including but not limited to, the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, Switzerland and the UK (as of Jan 1, 2021). The tax is not applied consistently across items, depends on numerous country specific variables and cannot be assessed in advance. Some parcels could require additional delivery duties (DDU) to be paid by the "importer" or purchaser, when delivered outside the European Union (EU). Luxe Provence does not cover any duties charges incurred by the importer of goods. Please contact us for any questions or to organise a delivery DDP (delivery duties paid).
For deliveries within the EU, all parcels will be charged with the current 20% TVA/VAT rate for items shipping and originating from France which are clearly noted on your purchase invoice.
